This period was a time that we decided to reach out to the Hawaii Maritime Industry. Letters were sent to prominent industry company leaders with a request for support. We are appealing to their sense of integrity to support Falls of Clyde as our symbol of the commercial sailing era that sustained the Hawaiian economy for many years.
We are reaching out to oil company foundations to ask for their support of our National Historic Landmark Falls of Clyde as a sailing oil tanker. Even though they do not accept unsolicited applications, we have sent a letter first to garner their interest in a historic venture.
