Click here We are prepared to meet with the Deputy Director of the Harbors Division on November 4. We are providing documents that we believe show that we are actively engaged in fundraising for the drydock. We are specifically asking that Harbors rescind their position that the permit allows only for restoration work, which they interpret narrowly, because we believe allowing people aboard to educate them and potentially use the ship for a fundraising event. We do not feel we should be handicapped this way.
We have again launched an Indiegogo campaign and need to get the word out as broadly as possible. For everyone who follows us on the website or Facebook, please reach out to your networks. The Indiegogo URL was https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/preserve-falls-of-clyde-now-is-your-chance/x/10629814#/.
We believe that 2016 will be our year to complete the drydock, but we need to show the “powers that be” that we have the support of people who truly value historic preservation.

We know that there is great interest in the future of the Falls of Clyde. There is a lot going on that the Board of Directors is dealing with, so we felt that keeping stakeholders involved through a report on our website is the easiest way to reach our worldwide audience.
